Zoosk's pitch is behavioral matchmaking: rather than making you fill out a long compatibility quiz, it learns from what you actually do — who you message, like and ignore — and adapts its recommendations over time. That makes it a comfortable middle ground for daters 30-50 who want some algorithmic curation without eharmony-style homework. The downsides: the coin-based extras feel nickel-and-dime, the free tier is very limited, and Zoosk has a long-running reputation for fake or inactive profiles, so the experience can feel quieter than its big registered-user number suggests. A reasonable secondary app for the 30-50 crowd, but not the first one we would install.
